The Memory Remains

We fight to live another day
And with each fight our hearts decay
Away from each other we propel
As stand alone units might do so well

While words are thrown and swords are sharpened
Our souls are torn and demeanour blackened
Leaving me out alone at night in the cold
Our love will fly on the wings of a crow

You've weathered the storm
I've weathered the hurt
As from this day on
Our union hits dirt

From different worlds, we draw our life
Into different paths, we sharpened our knives
Carving our force
Nipping the source

Goodbye the order
Or cling on to bother
A life together rammed against this wall
Divided we stand, united we fall

Both pieces were uttered
And arrows were thwarted
A fortress I seek not
Emotions surface like an ugly wart

Dynasty Building

Pour Lee ticks
In the streets
Around the crevices
Of the jam-packed cubicles

Pour Lee ticks
Achieving little while
Tripping over many
While they fail to see

Pour Lee ticks
Smiling tiger circles its prey
As darkened skin looms
And alibaba blooms

Pour Lee ticks
As I bid goodbye
Leaving all the mess behind
As the implosion here slowly unwind

Sitting, Staring, Stoning

Waiting game
Seeing out my final days
Should I just go prematurely
And leave this all behind?
I would have nothing to do
Nowhere to go
For now
The short term
Patience
Not a word in my dictionary
But I do need to seek it out
Hunt it down
And try my very best to
Define it
My rather limited vocabulary
When life comes to such a standstill
Even my half bucket poetry
Gets drained of its bile

Bed of roses

Italiano living in Americano
Said it best
In the line after mentioning his mistress
We live in a world
Close knitted
Seldom alone
And yet, there are times
When we feel so isolated
Ignored
Neglected
And forgotten
Living in solitude in the city centre
Fellowship with emptiness while with friends we banter
Partners come
And partners go
Partners they fool me
Many time fold
Professing emotional bonds
That will stand the test of time
And yet with a brush of the hand
All our good deeds unwind
Into the lower decks
Hit by an iceberg
Ship slowly sinking
And you'll never be heard
What should I do?
Where should I head?
Lies like poisonous arrows
As my poor heart bled
Dried of all lifeforce
Sapped of all juice
Bring our sorrows to the fore
As our souls are abused
